Our Story
It all began in London, Ontario in 1995, when I first opened Photoshop and started experimenting. What was supposed to be a curious three-hour session became a lifelong passion. A new world of creativity had opened, and before long, I was designing logos, restoring photographs and discovering just how far an image could be taken.
Over the years, I began accepting small editing projects for friends and family. Restoring a treasured photograph of someone’s loved one—and seeing the happiness it brought them—showed me that this work could mean far more than simply creating a beautiful image.
In 2017, a friend asked for help with her canvas-mounting business, MOC Canvas & Design, after her editor had left. I stepped in to help clear the backlog, expecting it to be temporary. Instead, it became a flourishing partnership. By combining my design experience with her expert mounting craftsmanship, we discovered we could create something truly special.
London Poster Studio grew naturally from that journey.
Sports posters for athletes of all ages remain our specialty, but our work reaches far beyond sports. We create family tributes, pet memorials, milestone pieces and artwork celebrating the people, passions and achievements that matter most.
Some customers have stood in our doorway with tears in their eyes after seeing their finished canvas for the first time. It may honour a beloved pet, preserve a precious family memory or celebrate a son or daughter who overcame extraordinary challenges. In those moments, we realize that people are not simply ordering artwork—they are trusting us with a meaningful chapter of their lives and allowing us to experience a small part of it with them.
That trust is something we never take lightly.
Today, we continue working together to transform personal photographs and meaningful moments into lasting pieces of art. Because at London Poster Studio, we don’t simply create something for your wall—we help preserve a piece of your story.
